Anti-Bullying Week

This week, all children took part in a range of activities to mark Anti-Bullying Week. Their learning helped remind them how to recognise bullying, respond safely, and seek support from a trusted adult. They explored why care matters, how to speak up when something is upsetting them, and how respectful, open dialogue helps us build a future generation of tolerant, compassionate and generous individuals.
Odd Socks Monday reminded everyone that our differences make us unique and that this should be celebrated.
Children in Years 2, 5 and 6 also took part in the NSPCC’s Speak out. Stay safe. workshops, focusing on the theme ‘Power of Good’ to empower children to combat bullying and promote kindness. Children learnt about their right to feel safe, who they can talk to if they are worried, and the different types of hurt — emphasising that no problem is ever too big or too small to share.
