Year 2 Science Workshop

Year 2 visited Ashmole Academy as part of STEAM Week. During the visit, the children learned about what it means to be curious and why curiosity is important in science.

They also carried out two exciting science experiments. In the first experiment, the children watched “dancing raisins” and explored how bubbles can make raisins move up and down in a liquid. In the second activity, they investigated which objects float or sink by testing different materials and making predictions.

The children showed great enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the activities and enjoyed thinking like real scientists.
