Reception’s Trip to Trent Park

Reception enjoyed preparing for the long-awaited Trent Park Trip. On Monday, the children talked about the things that they would need on the trip and used their phonic knowledge to write a list about this. The children were extremely excited to be travelling on the minibuses. At the park, the children took part in a range of activities including, parachute games; learning about the ducks and making observational drawings of them; going on an environmental walk and collecting flowers; exploring the wooden sculptures and making bark rubbings.  Of course, the children’s favourite part of the trip was the picnic!
