Reception’s Trip to the Farm

Reception had a lovely time at Freightliners City Farm. This real-life experience has provided a brilliant launch pad for our new topic ‘Are Eggs Alive?’ The children’s excitement following the trip will launch them in lots of fantastic learning opportunities, including painting images of the animals they saw and using collage to create a habitat for the animals to live in. The children made a recount of their trip and created a map of the journey they took from school to the farm and around it.
