Mini Mentors
This week, the Year 5 Mini Mentors have completed their training. A Mini Mentor helps children to be kind to each other, to look out for each other, helps them to be safe and makes sure they are listened to. Mini Mentors will help solve conflict between children during lunch play.
Mini Mentors had to complete an application form and take part in an interview. They then received training on when a mini mentor will need to support the children in the playground. They then had practical training time outside. The Mini Mentors were introduced in KS1 and KS2 assembly to notify the children of their new roles! Finally, in Monday’s assembly, they received their badges and certificates from Mrs Brodkin. Well done Mini Mentors!
