Houses of Parliament
Our Years 4 to 6 debating pupils enjoyed an inspiring educational visit to the Houses of Parliament, where they explored one of London’s most iconic landmarks. During the visit, the children learned about the history of Parliament, how laws are made, and the important role democracy plays in the United Kingdom. The workshop began with an engaging discussion led by a member of the House of Lords, Lord Motte, who shared his experiences and answered the pupils’ thoughtful questions. The visit provided a valuable opportunity to bring learning to life and deepen the children’s understanding of British democracy. We would like to thank the staff who accompanied the visit and helped make it such a memorable experience.
