Osidge School Uniform Expectations

At Osidge, we expect all children to wear school uniform as it helps us set the tone for the school. We expect all the children to come to school in the correct uniform, looking smart and ready to learn. Most of our uniform can be bought from high street stores.

Uniform:

Grey trousers / shorts / skirt / pinafore
Sky blue polo shirt
Navy blue sweatshirt (with logo)
Grey/white socks or grey tights (no leggings)

Footwear:

Sensible black shoes

Summer Uniform:

Girls: Blue and white check/striped dress
Boys: Grey shorts and sky blue polo shirt

Please label all your child’s clothes with their name so we can match it to their owner. It will also help you to identify your lost property!

PE Kit:

Children must have a PE kit, clearly marked with the child’s name and kept at school in a properly marked bag.

All children will need:

Navy shorts, light blue T-shirt, trainers and a PE bag.

During the winter months children may wear appropriate dark coloured track suit trousers. (no leggings)

Your child will need a book bag (with school logo) or ruck sack (any style) depending on year group.

Items with the school logo can be bought at the uniform shop: J Smith and Sons, 25 Station Parade, Cockfosters Road, EN4 0DW.

Jewellery:

Children should not wear jewellery to school, except in the case of items of religious significance. Only simple stud ear-rings are allowed. No jewellery should be worn for PE lessons. Watches with bracelet style straps are classed as jewellery and may not be worn.

Watches can be worn, but not smartwatches.

Hair:

Hair which reaches below shoulder length must be tied up using black, brown or navy hair fastenings (bobbles/clips). Any other hair accessories such as hairbands must be simple and black, brown or navy so that they don’t distract from learning, get lost or broken.

The school accepts no responsibility or liability for any lost items of jewellery or clothing.
